Fifty case of congenital cataract underwent primary posterior capsulotomy with anterior vitrectomy and IOL implantation during a period of 10 months in the Institute of Ophthalmology, Mayo Hospital, Lahore. Postoperative follow-up ranges from 6 to 12 months. A dramatic fall in postoperative uveitis were recorded in majority of cases.
